The Direct Station Select/Busy Lamp Field (DSS/BLF) Unit is a 50-button device that helps manage call traffic quickly and efficiently. All 50 keys are programmable, and 48 of the keys have associated dual-color LEDs and can be programmed as direct station select keys, central office line keys, speed dial keys or other directory numbers.

When programmed as direct station select keys, busy lamp field indications include station idle, station busy, station ringing and more.
